It is a sunnat to use “blessed cloves” kept in contact with the blessed stone. But the remedies for all diseases are with Allah.In this context, the saying of Hajrat Ibrahim(as)may be noted: he, the creator has created me. He provides me food and drink and it is he who cures me when I have a disease.

              Medicine dua and tabiz etc are like wasila. Hajrat Maulana sufi Mufti Azangachi(Ra.) had said “those who use medicine and tabiz and depend on them are like Bedins and those who use medicine and tabiz and depends on Allah, they are the people with deen “.If someone wished to have a tabiz from Hajrat Maulana Azangachi(Ra.), he used to give some pieces of labango which have been kept in contact with the piece of Blessed stone which Prophet(Saw) tied to his belly and the blessed piece of stone which while staying in the hands of Abu Jahel recited kalmia sahadat . The cloves had been in contact with the above two pieces of stones and were distributed to people by Hajrat Maulana Azangachi (Ra.)as a Shefa(cure)for disease. No money  accepted for this.Many people have been armed with the use of these cloves which have been termed by Hujur Kebla as blessed labango(cloves).The labangos become blessed by virtue of their being in contact with the blessed stone mentioned earlier.This terminology of blessed labango is the same as golap pani (Rose Water)which contains the secret of the rose because of the immersion of the rose in it. It is as if a piece of iron becomes a magnet by being with a magnet.

               Many people have drived immense benefits by using the blessed cloves. Curing from disease and the deliverance from dangers through the use of blessed thing have occurred through the ages. As examples ,one may cite the use of the saliva of hajrat Prophet(Saw) in healing the wound of Hajrat Abu Bakar(Ra.) which was created by the bite of a snake while staying in Mount Sur(Jabal-E-Sur)during migrating from makka to Madina.

              Another example is the gaining back of eyesight of Yaqub(AS) when his eye touched the shirt of Yusuf(AS)which was sent through his brother. Yaqub (AS) use to cry incessantly and this caused the loss of his eyesight. The Blessed clothes of Yusuf(AS) became a cure for the gaining back of eyesight (Sura Yusuf:93)

              Yet another example of blessed thing is the date tree(Ustune Hannana) against which Prophet(Saw)use to lean his back while delivering khutba in Masjid-E-Nababi. When Mimber was being created and it was proposed to remove that date-tree ,the tree started to crying like a human being. Even today in the masque of Madinah,the word “Ustune-e-Hannana” are written on a pillar by the side of this Mehrab of prophet (Saw).

             Thus if by being in touch with the blessed body of Prophet(Saw) a dead tree can become a living one and by the touch of the blessed clothes of hajrat Yusuf(As),the eyesight of his father Yaqub(As) can be regained and again if being in touch with the rose,the water can be rosy,then there is no reason why the stones which in the hands of Abu Jahel proclaimed the oneness and uniqueness of Allah, should not be considered as blessed thing can also acquire blessings. Thus,cloves in contact with the blessed stones have turned into blessed things.

            The way suggested to use this Mubarak labango is the following:The blessed cloves have to be kept in a clean pot/phihal. After performing Wadu, one has to recite “Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim”, “Kalima Sahadat” and “Darud Sharif”and depending on Allah has to say “Ya Allah Pak I Am using this cloves as wasila ;have mercy and piety on me”. Having said this,the scent of the cloves has to be felt through the nose three times and the disease has to be remembered and complete faith and trust have to be respond in Allah with the belief that if is Allah alone who is the curer of diseases. The clove is only a blessed thing.
